‘Bollywood Dreams’ in Gambia, Africa by the music band ‘Kapil & his Muzik Monks’, was the first ever performance by any Indian artists onthe soil of Gambia, the smallest country on the west coast of Africa. The Indian community there organized this gala event where Bollywood musicians and dancers performed togetherwith the singers from Dubai under the baton of Kapil Gupta.The evening was graced by the local African dignitaries. The pleasant surprise was that in the packed auditorium, about one-third of the audience was comprised of native Africans who knew the Bollywood songs and were fond of our movies! The live testimony to this was the local bass guitarist, an African, who played with the band in the show!!
